An exciting part of my job is when I get to put together what we call "inventory" or "spec" homes. This is when we build homes so that someone who is needing to move in much quicker than our average build time of 5-6 months can purchase a house with the selections already made for me. I enjoy it because I get to play around with different color combinations and see what works best as well as what sells the quickest. This home has gorgeous maple recessed panel cabinets with a cashmere glaze over all and an autumn glaze accent in the details of the cabinet. I then paired the cabinets with Silver Brown granite to add some cool tones to the kitchen while enhancing the autumn glaze with the brown in the granite. I also selected a light brown tile by Emser for the all of the common and wet areas of the home. The tile isn't too dark as too over power the beautiful granite but has enough color to compliment all of the shades of brown and neutrals in the kitchen. The bathroom was then designed with the same concepts in mind. The cabinets are the same and the countertop is a Piedrafina cultured marble, color emperador. The walls are a light beige, I believe Kilim Beige by Sherwin Williams to add color throughout the entire home but light enough that most any color could be paired for an accent color once a home owner has moved in and chooses to pull some colors from their furniture.
I hope you all like it! Let me know what you think!
